The action-packed, highly acclaimed martial arts/gangster/comedy Nightshooters is now available for order in a range of formats, including Limited Edition Blu-ray (from 1st December), plus Blu-ray, DVD and Digital (from 26th December). BAFTA-nominated John Hannah (Spartacus, The Mummy) and Bai Ling (Crank: High Voltage, The Crow) have joined the cast of Bart Ruspoli’s upcoming martial arts project, 14 Fists, also starring rising action star Jean-Paul Ly (Jailbreak, Nightshooters). Ruspoli has also written the film which is being produced by his London-based Ascendant Films.

Following its European premiere at FrightFest and making an impact at many more festivals all over the world, critically acclaimed new horror Await Further Instructions has been picked up by UK distributor Trinity Film. It’s helmed by The Disappeared director Johnny Kevorkian and BAFTA-nominated producer Jack Tarling (God’s Own Country).

During the recent Nightshooters panel at MCM London Comic Con, rising action star Jean-Paul Ly (Jailbreak) teased his next project with Ascendant Films, titled 14 Fists. Now, the full announcement has dropped. Written and directed by Ascendant’s Bart Ruspoli, it is scheduled to begin filming in Winter 2018.
Bart Ruspoli said: “We’re extremely excited to continue our collaboration with Jean-Paul Ly, whose star is on a meteoric rise. We are planning on creating some truly epic action sequences in 14 Fists and have the likes of the John Wick franchise squarely in our sights.”
Jean-Paul Ly said: “14 Fists is the opportunity I was always looking for, as I’m finally able to bring in my main international team to create a unique action design. I am very glad to work with Bart as we share the same vision and goal, by building something exceptional.”
