Mr Burton announced with UK release in 2025

Deadline reported that filming has now wrapped on Mr. Burton, the upcoming biopic about the man who inspired screen legend Richard Burton. Independent Entertainment sold UK and Ireland rights to Icon Film Distribution, who will release the film theatrically in 2025 to coincide with the centenary of Burton’s birth. BAFTA winner Toby Jones (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) stars in the title role, with the feature also starring Oscar nominee Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread) and Harry Lawtey (Joker: Folie a Deux) as the young Burton.

Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In lands 4K Special Edition release

The crime epic, Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In, is releasing on UK Digital platforms on 7 October, on Blu-ray and DVD on 14th October, and Limited 4K UHD + Blu-ray Special Edition on 11th November with exclusive extras, courtesy of Trinity CineAsia. The film was met with international acclaim following its coveted Midnight Screening at Cannes Film Festival 2024, a very successful UK theatrical release, and would even become the highest grossing Hong Kong box office film since 2010.

Terrifying new horror Beezel will have its UK premiere at Grimmfest 2024, Manchester’s international festival of fantastic genre cinema. Helmed by viral filmmaking sensation Social House Films (Val), after the UK debut, the film will be released in 2025 courtesy of Dazzler Media. From the studio behind Terrifier, the brand new story of Beezel is told over six tumultuous decades, when three unwitting guests of a cursed New England home stumble upon a sinister secret dwelling beneath its floors; an eternal witch with an insatiable thirst for the souls of the living.

Hellboy: The Crooked Man confirms UK release

Hellboy: The Crooked Man, the fourth instalment in the global hit franchise, will release in UK cinemas from 27th September from Icon Film Distribution. Written by series creator Mike Mignola, ‘Big Red’ makes a blazing return to the big screen in a brand-new instalment that masterfully blends blood-soaked action with truly chilling horror. From director Brian Taylor (Crank, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance) and starring Jack Kesy (12 Strong, Deadpool 2) in the title role, this is a bold entry, taking the iconic character back to the roots of his much-loved source material.

A Greyhound of a Girl comes home this month

Following its release in cinemas, new animated film A Greyhound of a Girl arrives on Blu-ray, DVD and Download on 26th August from Dazzler Media. Starring the voices of BAFTA winner Sharon Horgan (Bad Sisters, Catastrophe) and Oscar nominee Brendan Gleeson (Paddington 2, The Banshees of Inisherin), this moving film follows four generations of women as they take a life-affirming journey together. It's based on the book by award-winning author Roddy Doyle (The Commitments).

Boonie Bears: Time Twist scores UK cinema release this September

New animated adventure, Boonie Bears: Time Twist, is releasing in UK and Irish cinemas from 13th September courtesy of Dazzler Media. This heart-warming and hilarious tale marks the eagerly awaited tenth feature film from the hugely popular TV series and franchise, cherished by audiences all over the world.  Variety has noted the series as being “the biggest animation brand in China for many years.”

Before Dawn lands UK home release

Following its release in selected UK cinemas, Australian war film Before Dawn comes home to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital on 2nd September from Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment. Inspired by real life war diaries, it's a bold retelling of one of Australia’s biggest military victories during World War I, and stars Levi Miller (Pan) fronting a talented young ensemble.

Strange Darling scores FrightFest Premiere and UK release date

Critically acclaimed horror-thriller Strange Darling, from the producers of Late Night with the Devil and Barbarian, will have its European Premiere at FrightFest London on 24 August, before releasing in UK cinemas from 20th September courtesy of Icon Film Distribution. From writer-director JT Mollner, the film stars Willa Fitzgerald (Reacher, Scream series), Kyle Gallner (Smile, 2022 Scream), Ed Begley Jr. (Better Call Saul, A Mighty Wind) and Barbara Hershey (Black Swan, Insidious, The Last Temptation of Christ).

Sasquatch Sunset scores UK home release

Following its UK premiere at Sundance Film Festival London and release across UK cinemas, the highly original Sasquatch Sunset has its digital Home Premiere from 29 July and comes to Blu-ray and Digital from 26 August, packed with more than three hours of UK exclusive extras.
