Vertigo Releasing has announced the acquisition of crime thriller Villain for the UK and Ireland. The Warrior Agency completed Unit PR on the film, which stars Craig Fairbrass (Muscle, Rise of the Footsoldier), Robert Glenister (Live by Night, Journey’s End), George Russo (I Am Soldier) and Izuka Hoyle (Mary Queen of Scots). It's the feature directorial debut of Philip Barantini whose short film, Boiling Point, starring Stephen Graham (The Irishman, This is England) was nominated for a British Independent Film Award. Look out for the film in cinemas and on digital from 28th February 2020.
